There’s no better place for robots to showcase their “talents” than at the World Robot Conference held in Beijing, China last August 17 to 20.

A mix of humanoid lifelike robots and hyper-realistic robots was showcased at the four-day conference designed and manufactured by varying Chinese tech companies. In the video shown above, we see hyper-realistic robots that can show emotional range from joy to anger. It was mentioned that these humanoid robots have a brand new vision and haptic technology that help them show off micro-expressions.

What makes these lifelike robots also striking is the fluidity of their movement, considering that they are androids. Using the latest generation of super motors, these robots can unify the control of their “joints” to make their movements look more natural. Speaking of looking more natural, the color and texture of their skin also add to the hyperrealism of the humanoid robots that garnered plenty of attention from both manufacturers and onlookers.

We also won’t be surprised if we see any of the humanoid robots showcased at the conference added to next year’s list of best human robots.

Aside from Chinese tech companies showcasing their robotic products, the conference also held three concurrent events: The World Form on Robot 2023, The World Robot Exhibition 2023, and The World Robot Contest 2023.
